As many know Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in years. Combat sports have come along way from boxing and and wrestling, with companies such as Zuffa owners of UFC and recent buyers of Strikeforce the sport has seen major changes and advances in the sports community. WCFC is a new and fresh genre mixing old MMA style tournaments , they recently had major success with there event this past Saturday at the Rail Center in Salt Lake City, Utah:

June 6 2011 ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) Chief Executive Officer Joe Wooten today announced that the company's June 4th WCFC "Last Man Standing" Championship Tournament at the Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City had nearly 7,000 online viewers, stating, "The huge online demand for this event validates several key aspects of our business plan. First, that live Internet broadcasting can serve as a reliable, affordable substitute for television as a content delivery vehicle. Second, that online streaming doesn't need to be grainy or low resolution. Last Man Standing was broadcast in television quality around the world. Finally, thousands of new viewers got the chance to experience the WCFC product live and see one of the most amazing nights of fighting I've witnessed."
Last Man Standing, which was won by Steven "Razor" Sharp in convincing fashion, featured some of the top 155-pound fighters in a tournament-style event to determine the WCFC lightweight champion. Sixteen fighters, representing seven states and two countries, fought bouts consisting of one, five minute round with the winner being paid and advancing to the next match. Sharp, with over forty professional fights, defeated four opponents in one night to capture the belt including Kerry Lattimer by rear naked choke, Derek Wilkerson by knock out, James Birdsley by referee stoppage due to strikes, and Lucas Montoya by guillotine. Mr. Wooten discussed the new WCFC champion, "As an organization, we couldn't be prouder of having Razor represent us as Lightweight Champion. He demonstrated mastery of the sport by winning using a variety of methods, letting the fight dictate the technique. But more than that, he was simply a force of nature on Saturday and, despite the tremendous overall talent in tournament, it became apparent from the first round that Razor would be the man to beat. We are looking forward to his first title defense and to continuing the tournament style format to determine the WCFC champion at all weight classes."
Complete results and a low-resolution replay of the entire broadcast are available at www.wcfc.com.
