(http://www.watchittech.com) (PINK SHEETS: WTCT) announced today that the company has reduced the issued and outstanding common shares by slightly more than 28%. According to the company, the issued and outstanding common shares were reduced by 231,547,468 shares resulting in a new I/O of 590,462,659 and a public float of 488,304,309 shares. Management believes that this action demonstrates its commitment to the common shareholder to improve and preserve the share structure, thus adding value for all.
“The company was able to reduce its I/O by having a number of shareholders holding permanently restricted shares voluntarily return their certificates for retirement. These shareholders received no compensation for their return, but instead did it for the benefit of the company,” stated Max Bennett, President and CEO of WatchIt Technologies.
“In addition, in preparation for investment dollars, the company modified the terms of purchase so Air Pure no longer holds any common shares,” stated Bennett. “Management believes that these actions will not only increase shareholder value, but meet the potential investor’s needs.”
